The LAVA field hockey stick represents another significant step for the technical specifications of Mercian composites. The CB2 (25mm) shape is created from a fibreglass skeleton with Carbon, Kevlar and Basalt (Lava) layers. The Basalt content has been increased to create even greater strength and stiffness.

The CB2 shape offers great stick 'turnover' and help with flicking, in addition to this, the super stiff construction gives fantastic hitting power.
